worried about my chances :/

<p>alright well im a rising senior and im a bit worries about my chances in the colleges im lookin into. as of right now, im plannin on applyin to a couple of ivies and other great colleges such as upenn, duke, stanford, rice, emory, michigan etc.</p>

<p>im involved in many school activities such as sga (class rep), beta, tae kwon do (founder), soccer(four years, captain sophomore year)
im also involved in activites outside of school such as hospital hours, working 15+ hours a week, community service for local voluteer programs</p>

<p>ive only taken the sat I once and i got 2200. im plannin on takin it again in the fall. i also took 3 sat IIs on the june test date (bio, math, us) and i think i did fairly well on them (at least 700+ on all)</p>

<p>but my rank and gpa is the problem. my gpa is 3.83 while my rank is top 12% (around 90 out of 780 students) if my freshman classes are not counted my gpa is 3.94. however, both my rank and gpa improved dramastically. ranking improved from around 220+ to 90 in 4 semesters and my gpa went up a lot.</p>

<p>im also in a lot of aps and have done fairly well in them.</p>

<p>what are my chances in some of the top schools mentioned above?</p>

<p>you know, upenn is also an ivy. you categorized it otherwise :slight_smile:
Your rank is a bit unnerving. but it doesn’t hurt trying for any of those schools.</p>
