Worried about score jump

After getting a 26 in the fall and getting and a 24 and a 25 in the winter, I was supperised to see that I got a 31 on my April state ACT. I am really worried becasue I have been hearing that a jump of 5 or more can cause the ACT to flag my test. I did not cheat and I have been working hard since the winter to get my score to a 29/30. I worked really hard and put in time (spring break) and even got a 32 on the written. I am wondering if any of you think I will get flagged. I recieved my score 4 weeks after I took the test and was suprised to see my results. Any thoughts? Should I be Worried?

I have good grades and took the test in the state of Illinois. I also started working for the 29/30 after I got the 24 because I was really frustrated. After 2 months of studying, that’s when I pulled off the 31.

I think you’ll be okay, but even if not you will be able to sort everything out. Congratulations on your nice score!

A 5pt score increase is really good, but it’s no where near impossible. That shouldn’t raise any red flags.

If you got a 10 pt increase, that might raise a few eyebrows.

You should be fine.
