Worried about sending test scores in on time?!

So I'm a rising senior. I've taken the SAT last year and just today. On my first SAT I scored a 1570, then a 1730, and after taking it today I don't feel as confidant. I may have done better but I'm just not sure. I was praying for a 1955+, but I feel the odds are against my favor. I ran out of time on each section once again. I tend to dwell to long on questions, a bad habit of mine. Anyways, I still have SAT IIs to take and I'd really like to take the SAT one more time if the October SAT did not improve substantially. I'm worried that I may not have to time to take them, though. The November SAT is on the weekend my Crew Team has an important race up in Tennessee, and the December SAT I was planning to take my SAT subject tests. The next SAT after that isn't till late January. I'm not sure what I should do. Would I be able to send in my scores after my college apps have been submitted and applications are closed (I would be applying RD). I'm looking at the following colleges:

Vassar
NYU
Boston College
Emory
Bard
USC
and others

. . .any advice

I would imagine most of these schools have their policy posted somewhere.

For example:
From Vassar’s website: Candidates who elect the Regular Decision (January 1) deadline, the January sitting for the SAT/SAT Subject Tests and December sitting for the ACT are the latest allowed.

[Vassar College || Prospective Students FAQ](http://admissions.vassar.edu/applyprospective_faq.html#satactdate)

exactly as irishrabbit said, all these schools should have their own policies listed somewhere on their admission websites. January is usually the latest, some may possibly accept February. you’ll have to rearrange your time and commitments to make everything fit.

Oh. Thanks so much both of you. I don’t know why I didn’t think of that before.
