Worried about Senior Grades

Greetings,

I'm currently signed up to go to UCSD and I'm concerned about my grades right now and would like to know what I should be doing next. Here's what happened in my senior year.

FIRST SEMESTER
AP Literature - B
AP Calculus - C
AP Spanish - C
AP Government - C
AP Physics - D
Adv. Pottery - B

As you can see I did pretty poorly. I mailed a letter to UCSD about it and told them what happened, but they still accepted me. I took this as a sign to do better and I did...

SECOND SEMESTER
AP Literature - C
AP Calculus - B
AP Spanish - B
AP Government - B
Physics - C
Adv. Pottery A

So you can see there's been a grade raise for pretty much each of my classes (I had to deal with a C in literature because it was an extremely rigorous class and would have taken up the time i needed to work on my other classes). I know they're not stellar but I worked REALLY hard to get that far. btw I dropped ap physics for physics but told ucsd about it. So now i'm waiting for my transcript to get validated.

Is there anything else i need to do?

go to a community college and try to take some of the courses

If they haven't contacted you yet, they aren't going to rescind you.

2nd semester grades are OK. Your first semester grades could have been better, but I guess UCSD didn't care about them. I wouldn't worry.
