Worried about what happens if EA/ED doesn't work out?

<p>It's just so hard to see past the possible deferral/rejection to the snowdancing! On this end, the three things that had to go out yesterday did go out with extensive secretarial involvement by the parents. This is so not the moment when we want to be infantilizing D, at the same time the possible consequences of not being involved and doing a certain amount of hand-holding are just too serious. Not to mention, there is a certain amount of detective work involved in this process in terms of having to go over forms carefully and read the fine print in order to discover, for example, that at one school the only mention of the essay is on the checklist that for some reason does not download with the rest of the instructions, or the form that has what would appear to be the deadline printed clearly on top, but which gives an earlier date in the body of the form itself. But it appears that we are in very good company, which is most reassuring!</p>
