I mailed my application weeks ago and I have yet to receive any e-mails or letters. How long should it take for a response with the Penn log-in?

I would call Penn IMMEDIATELY. I’m assuming no one’s in the office at the moment, but you could give it a shot. If no one is there, call tomorrow morning. Penn told students to contact the office by November 24th or something if they hadn’t yet received portal info. Hopefully Penn just has your email wrong and that’s why you haven’t heard. But if not, there could be a major problem like your app never went through.

Best of luck! I really hope everything works out! It would be so frustrating if you didn’t get to actually apply ED. I think you’ll be okay though. I’ll keep my fingers crossed for you! :)

ED or RD? if ED, then ur 2 late. RD can b anytime up to Feb.

I applied RD and mailed it overnight. I enclosed a letter to Mr. Furda and it was addressed directly to him, as my parents insisted. Should it have been addressed simply to Penn admissions? Maybe I’m just paranoid.

Ohhh… sorry I thought you meant ED. You should be totally fine. Don’t worry about it just yet. I’m sure Penn will receive it. If you don’t get word from Penn in a few more weeks, you could check in.

Yes, I wouldn’t worry about RD materials right now, given the admissions office will no doubt be still dealing with ED in the lead-up to decisions…

Wait until mid-to-late December and make inquiries then; if you need to mail it again, it’s probably better to address it exactly as they say on the ‘Contact Us’ page of their site, rather than Mr Furda.

no worries right now cuz u applied RD.

did you already send the letter? Cuz I heard from adcoms from another school that they will focus exclusively on ED apps up to the ED decision day. So, you’re being a little paranoid here.
