Worried High School Junior

okay, I’m a junior in high that is trying to figure out if I have what it takes to get into some of my schools I have listed… I have a long list, but I’m really worried that I won’t be accepted because they’re particularly hard to get into… This is my list so far, University of Chicago, Emory, Fordham, George Washington, American, Case Western Reserve, and Westminster in PA. Chicago will definitely be my dream school and reach but the others are almost equally as hard to get into. Im a smart kid but I feel that my grades don’t reflect that. I want to go to medical school to become a gastroenterologist, so my second question is, is Fordham and American good schools for undergrad premed? Im making this forum on the fly so I’m sorry for the lack of organization, but any info and responses would help me tremendously and help ease my anxious mind a bit!
P.S. if you have any questions for me don’t hesitate to ask!!

Some guidance regarding premed and school selection can be found on this online list: “The Experts’ Choice: Colleges with Great Pre-med Programs.” Review their methodology for relevance with respect to your own concerns.

You have what it takes to go to med school. Does that necessarily have to be at the colleges you listed? We don’t know anything about your grades or test scores which makes it difficult to offer opinions. You seems to,have a range of collegs ranging from very selective to selective. I am sure if you do more research you can find some schools in each of the reach, match and safety categories.
