GPA: 3.7 unweighted/4.38 weighted

Leadership: S&D team captain, founder and president of school club dealing with homelessnes

Awards: NHS, Spanish HS, AP scholar, numerous Speech and Debate awards, and numerous piano awards

EC: piano for 9 years studying and competing, JV tennis, volunteering in retirement home 3 years, teaching 6 kids piano for 2 years, worked in local grocery store during summer.

First generation American (is this even a hook?), multicultural

These are the basics. Possibly looking for some merit money as well as I have no prospects for need based air.

Why are you so worried? Your ACT and grades are great. You should get into at least one of those colleges, though I am not sure what your safety school is, unless it’s Miami. You should find at least one true safety, but I think you will be fine.

Yes, Miami is a safety. And maybe American? I really like Wake Forest and U of Richmond though and hence the worry I think…
