Worried Junior

Hi, I've been in a dilemma this last couple of months. I'm a current junior in high school and I've just recently realized and learned about the actual path I needed to do to get into a top-notch college. The problem was I had no advise coming from counselors, parents etc. and of course I was to naive to realize what I needed to do. By the way I attend an overseas military school since my father is in the military.

So can anyone give any thoughts?

After researching info about admission into Stanford etc. or other higher tier schools I just feel that my stats are inadequate and it might be too late. So any thoughts?

stats dont mean anything when you apply to “top-notch” colleges.

dont worry about it and have fun

like i just said to someone else, just do what you want and what you like doing, and do it passionately. then the application comes naturally.

I understand, the thing is I just thought I should have started focusing on the academics part earlier =/ So I was wondering what your thoughts are. But thanks I’ll keep those comments in mind.

they don’t really care if you were a little bit airheaded in 9th grade. i was too, and here i am, going in september. if by your senior year you can convince them to believe in your ability to do awesome things when given the resources, then you’re in.
