<p>I have Dr. Showman for Bio101 Honors. Many of the reviews on RMP say he's impossible, unfair, and extremely difficult. However, the few reviews for honors section all have positive reviews. Has anyone had him? I'm Premed but not a bio major, so idk if I should keep him or try to switch into chem101. What do you think?</p>
<p>I haven’t heard anything about him. If you’re really that concerned, then I would just check VIP for a different section.</p>
<p>If you’re not required to take Biology this semester and can take something else instead this semester, then it might be worth it for you to wait until second semester when you can sign up earlier and secure a better professor. I know a few people who are pre-med and did that with Bio 101 to avoid having Duggins.</p>

USC has 95 professors rated if you search by “Biology” department. There are 15 professors rated harder, 4 tied with his 2.1 score, and 80 that are easier.
