Hello, I will be a senior in the upcoming Fall 2007. I want to major in business, such as economics and finance. I need help to make certain decisions. I am hoping to attend in the following colleges respectively from most to least desired choices: Upenn Wharton; NYU stern, Notre Dame, and University of Michigan. I also will need an extensive financial aid. Here is my bios.

- Senior Year Courses: AP(BC) Calculus, AP english, AP physics, Honors Economics, Honors Business Management Organization
- 1900 SAT (780 Math, 520 Critical Reading, 600 writing) (planning to take it again in October to achieve at least 2100)
- Planning to take SAT 2 for Math II, and Physics in November
- Working at a shopping center
- Assisted my parents' business (health food store, and nail salons) and thus, had comprehensive experience in starting businesses
-Science league for 3 years (didnt win anything though)
-I am currently looking for many scholarships.

Do I have a chance in any of the colleges? I am very desperate for direction currently; for I feel that time is quickly running out. What should I do to improve my bios? Which college should I go to? Please give me some information and guide.

notre dame is about 23% acceptance rate. I don't see that happening considering that you are an atheist. Religous affiliation is a major part of their application. They require you to take classes in a religion anyways. Atheism will not fare well with your scores.

Just praying. If God truly exists, and he has seen my terrible 17 years...he will get me accepted to Stern. But in the meantime, I gonna grit my teeth and get that ****ing 2200 on the SAT. NO doubt I will get 800 on math this time.

never mind, you live in NJ. That's even worse. I don't want to be cruel, but have you thought your choices through? You are an asian male from NJ who requires substantial financial aid and has lower than average SAT scores. That will take you out of the running for any merit scholarships. Although notre dame does agree to meet financial aid, you are about 200 points off from being a competitive applicant, and the aid that they do give will still leave you with a good chunk of debt. Wharton is out of the question. UMICH and stern are both publics which you are OOS. Even if you score well and get into them, good luck trying to get much aid except from FAFSA, which will still leave you with a TON of debt on graduation. UMICH's business school is ross, which you will not be accepted to, so why do you want to load yourself up with debt for a UMICH degree that is not Ross?

Look, there is not a question in my mind that I will get 2200 plus on my sat. I have been working so hard on studying for them and as well as SAT 2 for Math and physics. Look, if I don't at least get into Stern, I am not going to college and will just simply start my own business. What I don't need right now are reasons why I will not get in. Tell me what I have to do within the next 3 months that I have left to successfully become accepted into Stern.

not to be insensitive or anything, but i just wanted to point out that my school competes at the same location as yours in science league, and we usually beat you guys =P

wharton is gonna b a huge reach, like for everyone else
stern - reach
notre dame - lower reach, but still really difficult
umich - high match
