worse score than first time?

im taking the october SAT and since i didnt study at all i know that i'll get a worse score than last time. and sincei have to send all my sat/ap scores to the colleges do you think that they'll reject me just because i did worse the second time than first? and how would it sound if took a third time and get a higher score than the first two? (or would colleges reject me because i took it too many times?)

A) You still have a week to study.
B) I doubt you got dumber so you should get a similar score.
C) Are you sure all your schools require you to submit all scores?
D) Taking it three times is not frowned upon. The rule of thumb is four is too many.

Colleges aren’t that picky about how many times you take the SAT, unless you’re going completely overboard with like 12 tries. Also, you should only need to send your best scores on each section, for that’s what they look at. A week is also a lot of time to study, just find your weakest points and focus on them. If it’s vocabulary then find another source or study the same one a lot. Same goes with the others. Take some practice exams, they have them in books, online.

@kobudnik: ahh i dont particularly like math so last time i really just learned and ditched after the SAT because i thought i’d never take it again but… haha.
well i from what i heard some people say that its best to send all the scores and not hide the bad ones because the uni’s going to get suspicious?
@widtor 2896: Oh?! in each section? thats news to me. plz tell me more about it?
