<p>Writing 301 and Writing 201, or the pre-college writing courses. I could’ve gotten my writing requirement out of the way faster if I hadn’t been placed into those classes by the writing placement test.</p>
<p>Finite Mathematics. The professor knew like 10 words of English (none of which he could say correctly), he taught straight from the book and the material in the class was just pointless and irrelevant to every occupation.</p>
<p>Astrology… not Astronomy, but Astrology.</p>
<p>I signed up for the class thinking it would be an easy “A” but it was the professors first semester to teach and she wanted to cram every bit of knowledge that she had about Astrology down our throats.</p>
<p>The tests were brutal because she didnt know how to make tests, the info was way too much because she had never taught before and had no idea how to present material (often giving 20 or 30 new multi-part definitions a class and rattling off just as many difficult concepts)</p>
<p>I learned at that point that weird classes are often a ton of work… Some of the worst horror stories i have ever heard come from classes where the professors are new and they eat, live, and breath the subject they are teaching.</p>
