The worst class I have ever taken is Modern English Honors. I love the subject matter, but the teacher is bipolar! Some days, we are happily going along talking a book or play, analyzing it, but other days she is yelling at us about how we are all overachievers and overachieving doesn't get you anywhere in life. Your grade is based on how much she likes you.

world literature or apush, because both teachers are/were terrible

My current english class...i'm not learning anything, and it's a waste of time.

I am remembering another class.

It was called family life...but it was more like sex-ed except without the sex because our school taught abstinence only...

What a waste of time that was...

9 English H: teacher did not show up for half a year nor teach us anything
9 Adv Math H: teacher gave out un-necessary busy work under the guise of learning
Spanish III H and Spanish V AP: teacher was nonexistent and harsh to me for having 'invaded' her class; then I began to hate all of the classmates as well

Physics. I hate it with a passion... It's interesting in theory, but I hate applying it.

Honors History/Geography. The teacher SUCKS.

My highschool classes have gone pretty well, although there was an english teacher who wasn't the best, she was nothing horrid. This is probably due in part to our outspoken IB class who will make sure that if a teacher is not doing their job (not enough real work or too much busy work) the IB coordinator will get on it. This sometimes leads to unnecessary coordinator-teacher talks (leaving teacher a little disgruntled) but overall, it works out for the best.

I guess the worst class I've had so far would be a Physics class at local community college (online), and mainly it sucked because of the self-study, and although I survived, I plan to never take a physics class without a lecture again.

Stats sucks. Seriously, it was made to punish the smart kids! "Oh? You didn't have to take Algebra 1 & 2? You skipped right to Algebra 3? Well, Algebra 2 spends 2 weeks on statistics, so now you have to take the quarter-long statistics class! What do you mean Algebra 2 doesn't teach you anything about statistics? Of course it does, they spend 2 weeks on it! You need to learn this, it's very important."

Shut up. Please, if you're going to make me take such a crap class could you at least get an AP Stats, so it's COMPLETELY worthless? I've been in there 2 weeks and I'm about to die.

dude AP Chem is terrible...the teacher's an ahole, etc. Algebra II h was sort of bad, too. rest were pretty much good.

AP Chem is so terrible. I concur, Ziggy.

I will so fail the AP exam in three weeks because we have not done any labs except for some stupid sublimation lab with iodine. idiots! i did that in like, 6th grade....argggg

We spend a whole block (90 minutes due to Block Schedueling) on something that should take 20.

My precal honors teacher spends 3 minutes on something that should take 30-40. That's why I dropped out. To relieve myself from suffering in that class into precal, where we actually spend 30 minutes for something that should take 30 minutes.

We usually (every other day or so) have a free period in AP Chem.
Spanish 3 is also a free period about 3-4 days every week.
Psych is one big game.
Stats is... I don't really know, I don't pay much attention.

My IB Chemistry HL teacher speeds through topics in 1/8 of the time they're meant to take (for instance, half an hour instead of 4). We're high-strung, sleep-deprived, and overworked, but hey, at least we're efficient... it sucks right now, but I'm sure we'll appreciate it when it's the end of first trimester senior year and we've already completed the entire curriculum. It's like school-sanctioned senioritis. ;)

Religion class 10th-12th grade. Freshman year's class was entertaining/interesting, since then it's been intolerable.

chemistry is awful

World History - Required class filled with lots of immature, un-motivated students. My teachers for both semesters were awful. It was simply busy work (easy A) and I didn't learn anything at all.

Spanish 4- Just learning about culture and history is so boring! My teacher (an unbelievably nice person) talks to us like we are 5. argh.

Economics- See World History. My teacher talked more about his cat than the economy.

AP WH: Teacher needs to learn how to calm herself and not see red everytime she hands out a test. And she also tells me I need help because I was getting Cs on two essays

Oh and I need to add chem honors to this list-I didn't even last a term in that class. I lasted exactly 6 weeks. My midterm grade was a B- a week before I dropped out, which became a C- when I dropped out, and my tests went like 86, 71, 57, so I said "screw it, I'm outta here." It's a notoriously hard class. The teacher is a licensed pharmacist who probably doesn't belong in a high school, and he expected you to know everything before he lectured. His lectures made absolutely no sense anyways. :(

I dropped out of IB Art and joined IB Biology after a month of school. It was the best decision I ever made, academically and artistically.
