Worst college websites

What are the worst college websites you have seen?

My vote goes to http://www.utb.edu - Numerous misspellings, broken links, etc.

I hate the ones that have “virtual tours” with lots of indoor shots of people in classrooms and labs, as if all of those don’t look the same.

Georgetown’s is not the best
And Brown’s is just boring with the home page of just brown (the color) and text

But I have to say Duke takes the gold for worst possible web design

Sweet Briar College.

what??? dude the photo essays are pretty sweet. explain?

harvard was pretty damn ugly until they recently changed it. penn is pretty bad too :/

I agree that Harvard (and Columbia) have sites that are hard to navigate, but they aren’t bad.

I do not like the following: George Washington and Muhlenburg’s website.

i dont like the website for brown georgetown and boston college

Syracuse’s is difficult to navigate…never did find anything about the marching band until I resorted to google.

I agree that Muhlenburg has a pretty bad web site. Layout, colors and content look like they were put together at the last minute.

Sorta agree…too much blank space and rather generic typeset for the links.

Claremont McKenna College. It just sucks. Truly.

I don’t know if the colors are there just to attract girls, lol.

Going to agree with previous posters, Georgetown site blows.

Georgetown’s application process is as behind-the-curve as its website.

AARRRGH!!! My pet peeve. I’m also stunned when I look at a website to see if a school offers a particular major, and can’t find it. Really, it’s true. There are some sites that take several minutes of trial-and-error in order to find out what disciplines the school offers!

Pomona’s is kinda ugly
Pitzer’s is much nicer
Skidmore’s the WORST

I think NYU’s site is like a maze, then again that’s probably fitting ;)

I agree, Georgetown’s is awful. It has a lot of broken links. Penn State has terrible web design.

Caltech’s. Easy to navigate, quite unattractive.
