I once got a lunch detention for literally saying I felt sorry for someone not making the team. I "offended" the other person who got in on a technicality.

And my parents were called too and it got exacerbated.

a couple lunch detentions in middle school? lol the most i’ve gotten in high school isan early check-in or two.

I got a super detention once in middle school. I didn’t go to it though.

…silent lunch for not cleaning up the garbage of the people who sit 2 seats over

That teacher apologized at least

I got a referral and a stern talking to by the vice principal because I refused to take notes in precalc. I was officially written up for “voluntary insubordination.”

I will NEVER take notes in precalc.

I got detention for “helping someone cheat” in the 8th grade

luckily, my parents just laughed and called the teacher a *****. :)

We had to do something really hard and I said “That’s cheap!” and all my regular teachers knew that’s what I just say when I don’t like something but the sub freaked out and was like “ARE You Calling me CHEAP?!” and I got Saturday detention. And if that wasn’t unfair enough, or cheap, at Saturday detention we had to clean the whole gym which hadn’t been cleaned for like 5+years!

First remove everything from the closet (which was really heavy for an adult and I was only a 6th grader!). Then sweep the floor (which was 90% pure dirt from outside and the other 10% dust). Then mop the floor, then hand dry it with like really tiny towels! Then move all the stuff back into there! Oh and did I mention the whole time you weren’t allowed to talk!!!

I got detention for 5 days straight because i pantsed a kid.

It was cheap!

Never had a detention in high school ever. I shouldn’t now that I’m a senior, since seniors just get senior privileges taken away (like off-campus study halls and lunches and access to senior room) So I guess I haven’t had a punishment in high school.

In elementary school, sixth grade, I had detention every day for not doing my homework. Biggest waste of 20 minutes a day ever. Oh well.

3 days out of school suspension. fist fight…

^ I like this guy.

and accepted into hamilton college anyway, weeeeeeeeeeeeeee

it turn me off when a wimens gets in trouble at school

in Kindergarten I took another girl’s purple crayon and I had to sit in the corner for 30 minutes…Pretty rough stuff, eh?

Silent lunch in 6th grade for my social studies class. I was absent the day the whole class got in trouble, I just wanted to experience it.

OH and for out 8th grade trip, the room connected to us had an ice fight and we joined in. We got some complaints… then the connecting room brought up boys and were suspended or summat like that. We were almost in trouble for their dumb idea of intercourse at a school trip… loserz

After school/before school detention for tardies? My school is pretty lax.

My english class sophomore year was in the computer lab and a bunch of us were sending emails to each other through our school email addresses because we were bored. A bunch of us got 5 to 10 minute detentions because the “pings” annoyed my teacher lol.

silent lunch

Threw rocks down the slide in elementary school haha.

“GET OUT!”
“What?”
“LEAVE.”
“Okay.”

Goes outside.

“Do you want me to tell your form tutor?”
“If you want to.”
“Do you think I should call your parents?”
“Well, if you think you should.”
“Okay then.”
He did not though.

LOL this teacher gave me a perfect grades all year.
Actually, it’s probably getting my cellphone taken away first period Monday for the rest of the week. It sucked man, it sucked so much.
