Worst Schedule Ever

So I just got back from summer advising and literally didn’t get one class I remotely like or needed. I have the worst schedule ever-- so be forewarned all those going to summer advising later- believe me you will not get all the classes you want so be prepared.

I'm sorry to hear that, 311. I hope you the best of luck next quarter.

Your statement is not entirely true. I was lucky enough to get 4/4 classes that I wanted - though not the exact class sections but that doesn't bother me. All freshmans should also know that the more units you acquire, the higher priority you'll get (you get an earlier PASS time, and if you don't know what that is, you will). If you've already had units prior to attending UC Davis and have them transfer successfully, then those will help you - starting winter quarter.

adtran is correct, the more units you have the earlier you can select classes (for the rest of the time at UCD). For summer advising it was just which advising section you went to, so it really sucks for the people in the 20+ advising sections. Anyway, use siscast.com, it is much easier to see your schedule. What I do when I signup for classes is, do some research of what classes I want like days b4 it's actually my passtime, then paste the CRN codes into a text document, and then when it is my passtime -I log in, paste all 3/4/5 CRNs in, and I'm signed up for all of em. HELLA quick and useful especially for those 1 space left classes. also check out the open course list http://www.bestweekever.tv/2006/07/07/bwe-mac-ads/ in addition so you can better prepare.
