I'm top 7%, 29 ACT, 1950 SATs, great ECs, essays, and recs...

I don't know if I should even give it a shot...I've searched stats in the past years and even people with 2100+ SATS were rejected....

Should I give it a shot?

There is no reason not to apply, who cares if you don't get in. Getting in after your first year is fairly easy(well assuming you work hard of course).

I was top 2% with 2150 SAT, a lot of extracurriculars and volunteer work, job history, etc. and I didn't get it.

Don't worry though , if you get a 3.5 or better your first semester you get invited in. You have to keep a 3.5 to stay in which is A LOT harder than you think.

yea i kind of rethought it and decided i'd rather be in regular...
