Worst teacher you've had stories/rating

<p>Lab Coat: 6.5/10 [I reserve 7+ for really strange]
Nuclear Dude: 5.5/10 [He doesn’t sound that bad, just misunderstood]</p>

<p>Here’s my story:</p>

<p>The head of the math department in my city [125,000 people] was my Algebra 1 teacher in middle school. She hated me for some weird reason. [I’d like to say that this story trumps the other ones here because my one is about some serious incidents that happened to me, which is more intune with the OP’s question, but I’m really using this thread to vent]. </p>

<p>A few stories stick out the most. The first was that she screamed at me for saying “please, may I sharpen my pencil”. She then went on a full rant, flipping over my desk and other stuff, about how we don’t say please in her classroom. This was of course, done in front of the superintendent, who then promptly did nothing. Also, the only reason why I said please was that 5 seconds before that, I had asked my friend, who was then 6ft. tall, if he wanted to switch desks, as mine was too big and his was too small. I was then yelled at for “telling him what to do”. After this, I was forced to sit outside of the room.</p>

<p>My other story is that one time, we had a guest teacher who was teaching the class as part of his curriculum and another guest teacher was watching. When it was time to do a test, I finished within 2 minutes and handed it in, but she promptly ripped up the test and told me to “take my time”. The test was later fished out by another student and was 100% correct.</p>

<p>There are other stories, but I’m really just venting here.</p>

<p>Angry teachers happen and I’ve seen plenty. Including one that cursed out a student and was screaming so much that everyone’s ears hurt. </p>

<p>Ripping up a test is nothing. I’ve seen a teacher in high school rip out several pages of a student’s notebook and then stick it in a shredder while lighting it on fire afterwards to blow the smoke outside. And say “OUCH…THAT"S GOTTA HURT!”…only then to give a 0% for the semester.</p>

<p>Also, I think your other examples are better, since that stuff affects a teacher’s overall performance more. I.E it doesn’t matter if a guy wears lab coats all the time, that’s just strange. However, terrible behavior like that really makes a teacher horrible</p>

<p>Also, I got an A in the class, but I kept getting 3’s in Effort and Participation, which are the equivalent of getting a D…</p>

<p>Oh well, in high school I don’t put up with that stuff anymore</p>
