Which year is your worst year you had in all of HS?

Mine is this year which is Jr. Year cause so many stuff to do. SATs, SAT II's, AP Exams, HSPA (State Exam to go to college), and I have to worry about my gpa... and all those tests are all in spring also... the hspas are nothing they are just plainly easy i heard.

sophomore year was...pointless. at least with the other three years, there seemed to be a purpose. and it's so easy to get distracted in 10th grade and get off track.

Grade 10. I had a great grade 9 -- excellent marks, all that -- but in grade 10 I fell in with a bad crowd and started abusing drugs regularly. As a consequence, I very nearly dropped out. Thankfully, I was able to pull my socks up and get serious by senior year.

Sophomore year. No real reason- I didn't have any really hard classes or anything, but I just felt stressed out and anxious the whole time. Luckily I kinda calmed down by junior year, which was when I actually had a tough schedule.

My worst year was sophomore year. Started growing apart from my friends, social life was crappy, worst grades (though many would kill to have my worst grades), worst teachers, and I was convinced I was going to Maryland so I stopped caring. Junior year was the **** though.

Sophomore year, definitely. That was the time between when I realized I wasn't going to be able to find absolute moral truth, and when I stopped caring.

(Seriously. Ask me my opinion on abortion today...and I'll be like, "I lack a viewpoint." some God needs to come down here and tell me everything before I wilt from apathy.)

definetely sophmore year, killed my GPA, was the most stressful and anticlimactic year as a whole, its just out there between the other more important years and so much easier to get distracted

Freshman year, came in hanging out with the wrong crowd. I would probably still be like that if most of them hadn't dropped out (parents would not let me).
Basically I fell through the cracks, and pulling my self out of the hole has been hell.

the worst year (well maybe this is cheating) is the span of january of your junior year to the january of your senior year. Spring semester senior year is all the standardized test **, and then fall semester senior year is all the college **.

whoever says junior year is the hardest and senior year is the easiest is full of ****. While your second semester junior year grades are the most important, your 1st semester senior year grades are huge too. You have to maintain good grades while doing apps, being an officer of clubs/captain of a team, retake the SAT/ACT if you need better scores, the classes are harder, and when second semester rolls around you need to avoid not caring just enough to maintain decent grades while trying to arrange all the end of the year stuff.

junior yr sucked b/c you'd been through enough of high school to hate it, but hadn't been through enough to graduate & see the light at the end.

eughh. 93 days till my high school career is OVER and done with

I'm a sophomore now...and this year is definitely worse than freshman year. Freshman year was pretty cool because it was the first year of high school..it was just more exciting.

Sophomore year -- my best friend became addicted to meth and other drugs. She would be laying in bed crying all day, with me on the phone during her comedowns. We'd plan to do something, and then she'd go do drugs instead. Worst situation to be in. I eventually ended our friendship when she would call me at 3am asking for money. I had a friend who wanted to marry a 30-year old guy, with 2 kids, and her mom made her get a restraining order against him. Had to go through that process with her too.

One of my friends committed suicide, the 4th one I've known to commit suicide.

It really has nothing to do with grades, but one of the most dramatic years ever.

Let's just say, I got out of that crowd. What I find amazing, is through all that, I still have never smoked a cigarette or done any illegal drugs. I'm pretty proud of myself, seeing as I was offered it nonstop.

Yea, so grades aren't the worst things that could happen.
