Hey guys,

So USC was my first choice, but i got rejected. It was definitely b/c of my low(1900/3.65/4.25) stats. In terms of new info, I got straight A's first semester, and attended a couple of political conferences out of state. Just want some feedback if appealing is worth it. I got into some other good schools(Ucsb/sd/d, Miami, Wisconsin, etc), but USC was my dream, you feel? Thanks in advance

It isn’t always because of stats. Students with similar stats have sometimes gotten in. Because USC got close to 51,000 applications this year and took less than 18% of them, it meant 82% of the people who applied were turned down. Just not enough room for everyone.

Having said that - no one can say if it is worth appealing or not. If you don’t it’s a definite “no.” If you try then it’s a “maybe.” Right?
