I'm a caucasian male from CT, near Yale.
I plan to follow the pre-med track, but I do love the theater, including acting, singing, and dancing, and I know that Yale has a really prestigous theater program.

Would it be a waste to apply there, esp considering my current SAT scores?

It is hard for everyone. Get your scores up, make a difference at your school, be a leader and do your best. I would think you could apply, RD. You should end up at a fine school. remember that you should shoot for the stars - if you miss, you still may hit the moon.

Your SAT scores are so low. Unfortunately scores that low discount your GPA and class rank and make your school seem very weak. However, what can you lose if you apply? It’s worth the 60 bucks and the 2 hrs it takes to write the essay

Updated… Retake SAT Score: 2180. Affect me at all?

Yes, that score gives you a chance, but to be competitive, a 2250+ score is ideal.

Thank you…
