Worth applying?

I don't expect to get in, but I guess crazier things have happened. My dad is an alumnus which is supposedly pretty helpful.

ACT: 31 (36E 28M 34R 27S)
GPA:3.6ish-i've taken our toughest classes and we're a national blue ribbon school, but I still haven't worked nearly hard enough.
Rank: N/A
Basically all AP and honors classes for next year, besides gov and world religions which are required.

Extra Curricular
Soccer: 3 time all-conference, conference champion, state runner-up (hopefully state champ this season!), captain, member of Olympic Development Program Team Wisconsin, 12 years on club team, played U19 this summer. If I don't get into ND or somewhere similar I will play at a D3 school.
Basketball:Former varsity-reserve captain, 8th grade state champ. I will be giving up basketball to work.
Track: member of state championship team.
NHS, active member in student-led service organization, Earth Club-may take a leadership position, Spanish Club
Volunteer at summer basketball league every week, officiate youth soccer, will get a real job after soccer season.

Possible essay topic: I'll probably write about having pretty bad scoliosis and wearing a back brace for the first few years of high school and the experience and yadayada-maybe I will send the newspaper article about playing with it?

Other: I attended the Notre Dame Elite Soccer Camp last summer, got to know some former, current, and future players (I had a nice chat with Coach Clark in line for the port-o-potty...lol)
Also I visit the campus every year to go to a football and soccer game, may spend the night with a friend who is going to be a sophomore in the dorms this fall.

Thanks!

If you can get the ACT up a few points…hey you never know.
