<p>I have a 4.2 W GPA and a 3.75 UW GPA. 40 of 573 class rank.
My low SAT Score, a 1930, is pretty awfully distributed.
CR 580. M 650 W 700.
I just took the ACTs and am waiting to receive my scores back.

<p>I do think you have a shot at getting in and should apply. Your SAT scores are a bit low but if you can take them again and get over 2000 chances increase. You should absolutely do an alumni interview which, if it goes well can be invaluable. Be prepared to explain what about you makes you a great fit for Wesleyan. If you are the type of person who is actively involved in community service, if you are an agent for positive change in your community, if you can show an artistic creative sense in what you enjoy or have achieved that is helpful. Do not fall below top 10% in your class. If you look at class of 2011 stats when they come out you will get an idea how challenging admissions is getting. </p>
<p>I can't wait to get there in August. The kids are amazing and clearly love the Wes experience. Make sure you visit when school in session. I visited during the summer and got no feel for the school. Reach out to kids on campus when you visit to answer your questions and sit in on a class. Good luck!</p>
