Do you think that it is worth applying? How good of a shot do I have?

Here are my Stats, see what you think
(MA resident student)

GPA: W=4.3 UW=4.0

Class Rank: 12/270

President of Key Club (Junior and senior yr)
Captain of Cross Country (junior and senior yr)
National Honors Society
Vice president of Theatre

Class Treasurer

Lots of awards to coincide with my ridiculous EC's
Teacher recs from teachers that know me very well, definitely a plus
Writing is my thing, so I would like to say my essays are good.

Going to be a gov/poly science major, stressed the debate political work.

you definitely have a good chance of getting in.

if you're trying to figure out if this place is for you, make sure you read up about the Davidson Honor Code...it plays a huge role in Davidson life

your profile is actually very similar to mine (4.0/4.7 gpa, 1410/2080 SAT, 33 ACT, pres 1 club, in many clubs, run cross country/track) and I think (not to sound arrogant) I have an above average chance of getting in. It would probably help a tad that you are from MA (davidson is trying to up diversity, I think, which is usually good).
If you really are interested in davidson, definitely apply. read some things that have been posted here.. look around their website.. i forget the name but there is another college website that has video interviews of college students and long papers about what enrolled students think about the college...
like sufjanfan46 said, look up the honor code - it's pretty big there. sports are obviously important and present (tiny D1 school, great basketball!!), but it definitely doesn't sound overwhelming or like a jock school of any sort. location is also big in my book. VERY small town, lot of trees, but not far from other towns and the highway, which takes you right to Charlotte.

Plus, when I went to visit in June, it was 75 degrees. RIDICULOUS! But I also liked the free laundry, the amazing academics, the prestige of graduating from a top national liberal arts school, of course the sports, and the sense of family you get being in a class of only 400 where all classes are capped at 32, no matter what. Plus if you decide to go to grad school, their acceptance rate at graduate universities is way above the national average.

I have to say, if you're interested in a school, regardless of your personal scores and high points, it's always worth applying.

If everyone asked the question "is it worth applying...?" in regards to any school, in terms of odds of acceptance, Princeton, Harvard, Yale, Stanford, etc. would have zero applications to read.

you most likely have a better shot than and I am applying, so go ahead. I also do not have any SAT II scores. Apply, especially if you like the school.
