i'm an international student who is to about to graduate in a month (bachelor in the US). apparently, i've received many job interviews, but all of them were declined since they dont offer sponsorship. i'm planning to go to grad school and was wondering if having a master science will make a bit difference? or maybe alot? i'm planning to study in business information system/management info. system in business dept (master science). if you think it's worth for me going, could you recommend me good public schools please? also, around how much gre score i have to get for the schools that you recommended please?

Hello noctis,I think it is great that you want to pursue a masters degree to learn. However, to answer your question on whether a masters helps or not really depends. I would suggest taking a different approach. If working in the US is your current goal, I would first reasearch employers and jobs that interest you through job postings and company websites. Try to understand what they want in a candidate. This will help you narrow down your graduate school selections. Also, a higher GRE score won’t hurt you, but a lower GRE score can. So make sure not to procrastinate. Finally, don’t get discouraged. It is hard for international students to receive sponsorships (i.e. H1b & greencard), but I’ve seen plenty international students securing great jobs (including myself ^^).
