Worth it to email colleges about this??

I never listed this as an activity on my common app because I just started it senior year, but I have been selected to be a part of my school’s history quiz bowl team that competes every month. At the last January meet, we came in first place in our state (among the other schools that competed in our state). Would it be noteworthy to email all of the colleges I applied to about this activity and tell them about our first competition results?

thanks! would it be worth it to email a very high school like dartmouth or brown about this, or would it not make a big enough difference? should i only email the schools that care about demonstrated interest?

I sent an email like that to schools including brown and Vanderbilt and both gave positive responses
