I'm a freshman at a CC right now and I'm planning on applying to UNC as a transfer student for Fall 2014. I have a 4.0 GPA so far at my CC, but the only thing lacking in my application is my high school stats. I had a 3.5w 3.0uw in HS, which is no where near UNC standards. I only scored a 1040 (M+R) on my SAT in high school (I barely studied) which also is no where near UNC standards. If I retook it, and scored somewhere in the 1800-2000 range, would my chances be significantly improved?

ALSO: I selected UNC as one of my recipients when I took the ACT in high school, junior year, would they still have my score? My ACT was higher than my SAT.
