I'm pretty sure somebody asked this already, but is majoring in International Relations worth it at NYU? Everybody know NYU tuitions are overwhelming, but if they excel in the area I want to major in, I really believe it's worth money.

From what I know, IR is equivalent to an "honors" major. Is anybody who is currently enrolled in IR at NYU please tell me if NYU is worth it and if the program is very rigorous? Thanks :)

Don't you speak Korean as your first language? I guess if its hard as hell i might as well major in political science too...lol that is if I get in.

By the way people,
has everybody finished their short answer questions yet? I haven't even started mine. I've been pondering over it for over a month now.

Oh firewalker, PLEASE please please x 5000 let me read your short answer and common app essay. i really need to know what a killer nyu essay entails.

I am not in the program but had a best friend who was applying for it, and chose not to. IR is notoriously difficult to get into, and does qualify as a honors major. The program is hard but I hear the professors are great and it is worth it, if you don't mind working your butt off.
