Worth retaking ?? What would you do ??

So a really close friend of mine took the SAT for the second time in Oct 1st and he got 1830 (( M 710 , W 650 , CR 500 ))

His first choice college doesn't use cuttoffs BUT they do mention the 25th and 75th percintiles of the scores of the students who got in last year , and this is it :

Math :
25th : 650
75th : 740

CR :
25th : 470
75th : 650

Writing :
25th : 500
75th : 650

I and him are debating weather to take it for the third time or not , do you think he should take it for a third time or not ?? What would you do if you were in his place ??

Thnx all (:

FreedomEagle: *he and i *whether *percentiles lol. Sorry sat made me like this… But yea you and your friend should retake it…

Alright thnx for your opinions.

@ssmm I’m international , and I taught myself English (( imagine how hard it is to learn a language that you know nothing about and that you have no one to teach you it and still you speak it fluently )) , My school doesn’t offer English curriculum. So thank god I can speak it like this , few mistakes won’t hurt.

Any other opinions ??

Pumppppppp

Depends on what college he wants to get into, FreedomEagle. Check up on colleges, see required scores, and based on that he should make a decision.

^^ There is no required score. Their website says that there is no minimum , but they do mention the 25th and 75th tile of last year entering class (( which is mentioned above )) .
