Worth Retaking?

Here's my situation:

I've taken four Subject Tests now. My scores are:
World History: 740
Hebrew: 800
Physics: 710
Math IIC: 800

I didn't think I did too well on Physics, but I imagined in my head at least a 750+. How bad exactly is a 710? Is there some sort of way I could just not report it on my application, since I already have two other tests? Or am I obligated to report it since I took it? And in that case, should I retake it? (Note: The problem with Physics is that, unlike Math, it requires pretty heavy reviewing... Also, I may just not be that good at Physics because although I got A's in AP Physics B all year, I think I truly bombed the AP Exam and a 4 or even a 3 would be a Godsend).

Thanks!

I got 760 in physics. So far, I've seen only one person on this site at this hour who got a score higher than me. but I'm pretty much asking the same question as you. So, someone else below us can answer both of us.

and i think i also bombed the AP physics B test too.>.<.
sighs

So guys, I"m a high school junior. Should i bother retaking physics to score higher? I"m planning to apply to schools like MIT, caltech, Stanford, Harvard, etc.

I should note: I am NOT planning to apply to schools like MIT, CalTech, etc.

I'm looking into more Liberal Arts colleges... My ultimate goal at the moment is law school.

I am taking AP Physics C next year, but I doubt that whatever we do in the first two or three months will be enough for me to improve my score if I were to retake this test.

Do colleges which require two SAT IIs just take your two highest SAT II scores? And colleges which require three take your highest three? Because in that case I can just ignore Physics...

I wouldn't worry if you're not applying to MIT, Caltech, etc. You already have 2 800s and a 740...

So they do look at your highest scores only? And should I or should I not self-report this Physics score?

bump... :P

I hate bumping a third time... But I really need an answer to calm my nerves...

Anyone?

Don't worry about the world history one.. 750+ is best, but 740 is really really REALLY fine.

Physics: If you apply as a science major, then possibly retake that... but if you know you're naturally bad at it, and don't have the time, then it's okay.

I don't know if I'd say I'm naturally bad at it. As I said, in my AP Physics B course I got A's (A+'s, too) all year, and at my school that class is no joke (though the curve is generous).

However, I did mess up pretty badly on the AP test (don't know my score yet, but I wouldn't expect a 5, and I'd be very surprised with a 4). I just think that if I retook this SAT II Physics test, I won't do better because by the next available test date Physics won't be so fresh in my mind.

And I don't think I'll be a science major. I can't be sure, but I'm leaning towards mathematics or the social sciences, or perhaps a mix of both.
