D got 750 CR 690 M 800 W on first SAT.
Second time 730 CR 720 M 730

For schools that superscore is it worth it to send the second score?
I know some schools say to send all test scores and they will update with highest scores--is it really worth it?But if we send only one will schools wonder why she didn't try again?
Thank you!

Which schools are you applying to? Some make you send all of them in whether you want to or not.

none that require all.

Going up 30 points seems to be worth it, particularly if you intend to go into a STEM field.

She plans on being a history major–or English. No STEM. That’s our dilemma. The 800 to 730 doesn’t look good for an English Major.

Few schools weigh the writing section as heavily as Math and CR. Many don’t consider it at all. You should submit the second score.

If you have not submit any score before, it is the same cost that includes all scores. If you did sent the first score, it depends on how competitive that school is. There is a 30 point difference (in Math) with and without superscore. There is also a 10 point increase in CR+M in the second attempt even without superscoring. It probably won’t make much difference for most schools particular for non STEM major, but sending in the second score would not hurt even with that drop in W score. Schools would see all your section scores.
