Hey guys I plan to apply to JHU RD. It says that they don’t require SAT IIs but will consider them… Would it be worth submitting low SAT II scores of 660 (Math ii) and 690 (USH), or would they hurt my application?
I wouldn’t send them, anything below 700 will probably hurt more than help.

I think if it’s over 650, it wouldn’t hurt you for schools that recommend them. It shows that you took the extra effort to spend a few hours on the tests, unlike some applicants. At worst, it’ll have no effect on you because 1) It’s not required and not all applicants submitted subject scores, so they can’t penalize you unjustly, and 2) average subject scores aren’t publicly released (I think), so it wouldn’t lower the school’s rankings or whatever.
