I recently got off lehigh's waitlist and sent in the deposit
and i deposited to rutger's university long ago.

i received no financial aid at all from lehigh

im majoring in accounting and thinking about doing premed along with it.

rutgers w/ room and board is around 24k

while lehigh is 48k

is it worth the extra money?

There is nothing like Lehigh. Why do you think their new motto is “Constant Lehigh”? Remember: You will only have one best 4 years of your life.

As [noted before and reinforced by the strategic ”>http://www3.lehigh.edu/pdf/about/LU_strategicplan.pdf ]strategic plan](<a href=“http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/1062155511-post24.html]noted[/url ”>http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/1062155511-post24.html ), Lehigh is committed to supporting interdisciplinary studies which might dovetail into your stated (accounting/business and pre-med) aspirations. These are the type of initiatives that you can participate in at Lehigh that may justify the additional expense:

…Lehigh can leverage increased external funding and make a significant impact with cross-disciplinary clusters that draw students and faculty from broad disciplines, including the arts and humanities, basic sciences and engineering, economics, business , education, and the social and behavioral sciences. For example, studies of disease processes, management of research and development enterprises, systems for delivering and financing care, and ethical management of risk integrate contributions from several disciplines for better outcomes …
