Worth the Self Study? Human Geography?

Hi guys, due to a lack luster freshman year causing my gpa to plummit, I am trying to catch back up. For this school year I am taking 4 AP's and 1 self study.

AP: Env, Chem, Lang. and Comp, USH. *Psych

I have a very busy schedule, however, I was thinking of taking AP Human Geography as another self study, to make myself look more competitive as an applicant. With my busy schedule, would it be worth my time to study for it and take the exam? And if so, then how should I prepare for it, and for how long?

Thanks!

It really won’t make you look more competitive as an applicant.

I don’t understand why you would put the time into studying if you aren’t interested in the subject, probably won’t ever use the credit and have an already packed schedule. No college is going to think you’re so much better just because you self-studied an additional AP, especially Human Geo. Save your time and money.

Not many colleges give credit for Human Geography, don’t waste your time.

I actually took Human Geography in a class and I don’t think its worth your time. If you are going to self study, do it on an ap that either isn’t offered in your school or one that colleges actually care about.
