Worthwhile applying to Yale??

Hi

I just did my AS levels (first year of A levels) in the UK and I fear I may have gotten AAAB. Do you think that that B is gonna mean my chances at Yale are basically out the window? I know that GPA is super important to these top schools so have I just thrown everything away here? Obviously I have stellar ECs and SATs but I am aware that GPA is more important than all of these things so can someone please just tell me - should I just forget this dream completely now??

I don’t think we have enough info here. If the question is will one B derail your chances, the answer is NO. Everything must be stellar though to get into Yale. Good luck.

First, you haven’t received your AS results yet, so your B is just a guess. Chill; you probably did batter than you’re expecting. Second, whether Yale accepts or rejects you will not be as the result of one B. Good luck.
