Would a high SAT II score cancel out a class?

The heading may sound a bit misleading...

So the story goes: My friend and I did not as well as we hoped to do in Freshman year Bio-Honors. We got B+'s, even though we really really liked the class. Well, he got close to an 800 on the Bio SAT II and I'm taking it January 22nd, and on the Barron's practice tests I keep scoring 750+. So, would colleges see that, despite having an average grade in Bio, when the time came we buckled down and studied like crazy? Would it be something to include in the additional information section or something? Or am I just being crazy... Which is the most probable.

On a side note, we did NOT take AP Bio but we plan to [senior] year?

Thanks for the comments.

Bump… and by “Or am I just being crazy… Which is the most probable” was asking if colleges will just disregard the scores and think of it as two separate things…

B’s aren’t bad…

I know they aren’t but I was thinking of maybe minoring in Biology or something… and the fact that I got a B+ in the class seems pretty bad to me…

Lol, it’s not. For most colleges, declaring a major doesn’t mean anything, aside from the fact that you can write essays about things you are passionate about. The only thing that matters in terms of applying, generally, is the college within the institution you apply to. And even then, you can transfer to other departments within the institution…

Oh well. There goes my hopes.

How…? Getting a B doesn’t mean you don’t get into college hahaha…

It’s only one B+, and a B+ from your freshman year. I wouldn’t be running around happy and all with a B myself, but I wouldn’t sweat it. Make it up by acing AP Bio.

An 800 on SATII Bio will definitely make up for a B+. It would probably even suggest grade deflation at your school (for Biology atleast).

Is a B+ really even that detrimental that it would need to be “made up” for?

It might hurt your rank a little, but I don’t think colleges (even HYPSM) really cares about a few Bs here and there. There’s a cutoff where numbers simply don’t matter as much anymore I think.
