Would a politically liberal student feel out of place at Wheaton?

A politically liberal student would be in the minority at Wheaton. But feel out of place? Not necessarily.

I am a fairly liberal student, and while I know that many of my fellow students and professors (though not, perhaps, as many as you’d think) disagree with me on some issues, our political differences have rarely been polarizing, and have never made me feel any less an accepted, appreciated part of the Wheaton community.

From reading about Wheaton College (IL) I don’t get the impression that it’s necesarily a politically conservative place. There are plenty of evangelicals who breathe fire and brimstone but like to dance AND advocate a ministry to the poor and downtrodden.
