Would Amherst be good for me?

I am planning on starting my own personal training business after college, which means I would major in some type of business or economics (possibly with focus in entreprenuership?) as well as a possible double major or just classes involving exercise science/nutrition/kinsiology-type subjects. Would Amherst be a good choice for me? Any other thoughts? (Only considering Division 2 and Division 3 schools). Thanks.

I think you’ll find what Ephman said on the Williams board is true for most, if not all, of NESCAC; you won’t find any business courses. I did find one Kinesiology course, however.

It’s not offered this semester, but since it is considered an upper level course (for juniors and seniors), you have time to wait for it to come around again <a href=“P R I N T P A R M S P A G E”>Anatomy and Kinesiology Not Offered DANC 301;

And, let’s not forget the other Amherst:

[UMass Amherst Department of Kinesiology](<a href=“Kinesiology : School of Public Health & Health Sciences : UMass Amherst”>Kinesiology : School of Public Health & Health Sciences : UMass Amherst)

Yup, “Econ” is sort of the catch-all for business-y type stuff at Amherst. Not sure how much actual help that would be for entrepreneurship. If you’re planning on going to b-school anyway though, I think amherst with an econ major would be a good choice.

So what division 2/3 schools would you suggest I look into if I wanted a good business/economics school and kinesiology type stuff? Thanks for the replies.
