Would anyone help me with a scholarship essay- Usually don't have anyone help with the editing!

Hey guys,

I’m going to apply for a scholarship through a company called Poshified, I had applied to a scholarship of theirs before ( I believe that was their first time with offering a scholarship), but didn’t receive it (per usual) but they have another opportunity coming up and I don’t want to give up so I’d like to try again.

I know no one is ever promised any scholarship and many students out there have better stats and extraordinary experiences than I do and get turned down, but I would appreciate the help.

Usually no one edits essays for me, so maybe this approach will work. I would appreciate the help.

I haven’t started the essay yet, because I’m kind of stumped on ideas. :confused:

See if your college has a writing center.

A neat little website with volunteers out of Washington state that will read your essay and offer feedback with some information you give like prompt, deadline, program, etc. Submit it online and they will get back to you. I don’t work for them but have used them and received good feedback, just remember they are real people (mostly students) that are trying to help out of the goodness of their hearts…don’t abuse the site. Also, try Courtney Thurston. She charges about $5, but is worth it.
