Would appreciate any chances.

No, I am no genius although my SAT scores and GPA don't do me justice because I haven't really put much work into school, and our school basically cant prepare anyone for the SAT.

First I want to say that my high school is the second to the worst in high school academics in the state mainly because of kids not wanting to learn anything.

The best school that a student of the class of 09' is going to is UC Irvine.

We only offer 3 AP Classes: English(Lang./Composition for seniors, Lit for juniors) I took the Lit AP exam this past year, Calculus AB, and Government.

State: Hawaii
Ethnicity: Caucasian/Mexican American (I mark Mexican American or Hispanic on everything)

GPA: 3.6 UW 3.7-3.8 W (U.C. GPA is 3.88)
Class Rank: Top 10%
SAT's: 1760 (CR 600 M 590 W 570) I still scored better than 97% better than my schools graduating class last year.
SAT Subject Test: Still deciding on what to take.
EC's: Varsity Basketball- Top 50 player in the state of Hawaii
Some Government Activities
Read Aloud Program
Beautiful Child Program (Collects items for homeless children)
Prevent Child Abuse

Teacher Rec's: They love me
Counselor Rec: She loves me

This year I had an epiphany and I decided to take the most rigorous class schedule next year that my school can offer. We do 4 classes a semester so its something like this..

1-AP Calculus
2-AP Lang./Comp
3-Physics
4-Spanish

then

1-AP Calculus
2-AP Lang./Comp
3-Economics/Psychology
4-Spanish

The colleges I plan to apply to are:

Matches:
University of San Francisco
San Diego St. University
University of San Diego
University of Washington
University of Southern California (I'll prolly improve my SAT scores by a couple hundred points by application time)
University of California-Irvine
University of California-Davis
University of California-San Diego
Pepperdine University

Major: Political Science

I then plan on going to Law School.

And if you have any other suggestions for colleges that I could get into that would be nice.

I'd like to be in a city and be on the west coast. (Cali, Washington, Oregon)

Thanks for any contributions.

Prettyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy please.

=)

as much as I’d love to help, I live on the eastcoast,so I know nothing about california schools. I do have a really good bookthat you might consider checking out sometime: it’s called “The Best 368 Colleges” by the Princeton Review. It has acceptance stats forallthe listed colleges as well and the 25th-75th%for SAT scores.
