Would appreciate some general advice...

Hey all, I'm a recently graduated senior, I've always planned to go into law, and I guess the time is here.

GPA: 3.94 (something like 3.6 freshman year, 4.0 the other three)
LSAT: 176

Really high numbers, but I went to the University of Maine (Orono) which, obviously, isn't an Ivy League-level institution... does this kind of disqualify me from the real elite programs (Yale, etc.)? That's always been my goal but I've really looked into it, I've always just focused on the road.

I know these might seem obvious questions, but again, I've never actually focused on the finish line, so now I don't really know what to do. Where should I shoot for?

edit: by the way, the other posts on this account were by my younger brother... I'm not a freshman, haha.

t7 for you.
nice stats

You’ll get something in the T6 and probably money from the lower end of it or Duke/other schools in that range.

Great shot at Harvard. If you have some sort of hook (any sort of URM, low income family, first generation college, substantial research, stellar ECs, work experience, fellowships) I’d say you’d have a good shot for Y or S as well.

Otherwise, CCN all look probable and solid.

It seems as though since you’ll be applying next cycle you’ll at least have some sort of experience between now and then, so if you do something substantial during that time it will probably aid you as well.

enjoy harvard law school, i would guess your chances are above 80%
