Would attending BU help my chances of getting into BU Med?

Well, that's just one option (also U of Rochester and Rochester med, looking around for others), but in general, do med schools have a preference for undergrads that attend the corresponding undergrad school?

Just wondering.
Also, while I'm here and you chose to respond, I've seen countless threads on this, but if you were me, would you follow a premed program or major in something like biochem (though I also saw threads that say you don't NEED to major in bio, chem, or biochem [etc.]) I mean, I just need opinions... so many options to chose from, it's daunting =/

Not necessarily. But Brown and BU do have joint-programs. I believe the BU program lets you get your MD within 7 years.

As for majors, you can major in whatever you want. But in order to apply to med schools, you need to take chem, bio, organic chem, physics, English and (usually) calculus.
