if i am in a dual-enrollment program for my HS jr and sr year at the University of Minnesota and get two year worth of credits, would Chapel Hill accept them?

Probably. I say that with some reservation though. UNC is really good at taking credit from other colleges, but I think there is some rule about having half your credit hours be from UNC in order to get a degree from here.

my high school was also a dual enrollment program with Guilford College and nearly ALL of my credits transferred over class by class. they’re good about that - every college is different. for instance, some schools will happily exchange credit for credit (brown and carolina), some will only take up to two classes worth (duke).

but it’s worth considering that if you want to major in one of carolina’s stronger majors you might want to actually take those classes at carolina.
