Would colleges like this EC?

For a while I've been considering starting up a club like model UN, but instead it's model businesses. At the beginning of the year, everyone would develop a product, determine numbers, etc etc, and throughout the year, they'd be given new challenges to overcome, all while trying to develop their companies.

Is this a good idea for a club?

If I'm applying to Wharton @ UPenn, do you think the admissions committee would like this club?

That sounds like the apprentice sort of .. yeah sounds good to me, a kid I know applying to wharton has started like at least 5 business on his own, really successful at all of them.

It doesn't matter whether the college likes, it should matter that you like it.

@sarorah: 5 successful businesses?! oh my...

@Shark_bite: Well, I do like it, I was just curious if there would be an added incentive that colleges would like it, or if I should be warned that it was a horrible idea and equalled an automatic rejection.

Yes they would like it.

sarorah.....if that guy is so successful...why bother going to college?

and redlightdst- ur idea seems a little farfetched..but it's a great start!
