Would Cornell or Northwestern be MORE rigorous for pre-med

I plan to be an anthropology major but take the route for medical school. Which school do you think has the more arduous pre med program?? What would be some similarities and differences of the two schools as a whole??

Do you mean difficulty of the courses taken? If so, it’s impossible to tell. If you mean academic difficulty of those institutions as a whole, it’s also pretty much impossible to tell, although I’m sure you’ll get some people arguing for either side. Both schools are great and both will get you into med school, but if you want to go to med school, you have to be willing to do hard work either way.

For your second question, I’m not too familiar with either school to say.

my guess is that difficulty level is similar, maybe slightly more difficult at Northwestern.

Why would it be slightly more difficult at NU? That makes no sense.

Either way, it’s not that easy.

Ray192–That was my reaction exactly. What makes NU slightly more difficult? It does indeed make no sense.

Law school requires certain classes in UG and MCAT scores. Do well on these. Both NU and Cornell will be a challenge and an asset.

Sorry–Med school not Law school
