Would emailing admissions at a university help?

I was deferred from my number one school and was wondering if emailing admissions with my interest and good experience of visiting the campus. They’re asking for my mid-year report of senior grades which is a 4.1, but I still would like to do anything I can to augment my chance. Would they consider my interest or just think I’m a pest? (The school is Loyola Marymount in LA, CA. I’m an out of state app from PA and I visited the school 2 months ago.)

I think that a note expressing your continued interest in the school and even letting them know it is still your top choice is a good idea. If you’ve had any achievements etc. since your application was submitted you should mention them as well.

@happy1 thanks for the input!

Yes, but don’t make it fluffy. Keep it short: If admitted I will attend, here’s what I’ve been up to since I applied, etc.
