I'm talking about the University of Maryland University College. Some people think UMUC is like the University of Phoenix, reputation wise. Do you think that is true?

In my experience in industry, we higher people from all sorts of different schools. Where you went matters much less than what you’ve been trained to do. Of course, however, we’re no Google, Apple, or Facebook.

Also, the further you move along in your career, the less important your education becomes. Only your first job might care about where you got your MS from. The next employer cares about what you did at your last job, and the employer after that will want to know what experience you had at that other job, etc etc.
