Would Horrible Freshman(HS) KILL Chances?? I've FAILED CLASSES!!

My freshman year at a DECENT AT BEST highschool in nyc(A. Phillip Randolph Campus High School) was horrible. Let me explain:
English: Sem1:65 Sem2:85
Spanish:Sem1-55 Sem2-65
Global History: Sem1-80 Sem2-75
3d Art- 70 Health-75
Algebra: Sem1-80 Sem2-75
Living Environment: Sem1-80 Sem2-75
I had to repeat sem1 of spanish and had to take it sophmore year. Will that look bad? Sophmore and junior year, I had a 3.88 gpa and I have a 2250+ sat. will that hurt me for princeton? Im African American if that helps. I know princeton doesn't count frosh year but if they see I took 2 spanish classes the same year, they'll know i've messed up that year and they'll probably take someone over me. What about my chances at:
Wharton, Columbia, Harvard,Stanford and Duke????????

Welcome to Princeton University!

Luckily freshman year is the least important. So you are a junior? Anyway, a 3.88 is a great GPA considering your start. A 2250 is a good score, too. Those numbers among being a minority give you decent chances at one of those schools.

bump…

what is your unweighted g.p.a? I am assuming that 3.88 is much too high to be your U.W g.p.a considering you had Fails and D’s.

I think he’s saying that if you only look at his sophomore and junior years, he has a 3.88.

oh haha, sorry, didnt notice that, I guess if they do not look at your freshman year or you and your guidance counselor have some good excuses, then you can stand a chance, i mean crazier things have happened in admissions

bump??..
