I think you gotta shot at some top schools, including Ivies. You might want to do some unique EC’s even though the ones you have now are ok. You have amazing grades, and I double they will see the minus and the plus’s on the A’s, depends on how your school sends transcripts. You’re grades are amazing, keep it up! Please chance me back!

Hey man, while you definitely have a shot at most Ivy league schools, when it comes to Harvard U, other applicants’ grades are just as good. Therefore, it’s more of a shoot or miss sort of thing, more like luck…at this point not only you have a 4.0 but also 3434509 of other applicants, you see what i mean? so with schools like these, u just gotta trust your luck and hopefully that admission officer will wake up in a good mood, read your app and let you in. But if you’re concerned about your grades, i’d say they’re def good to get into harvard. maybe idk, i’d wish you’d get that english from a b+ to at least an A-…if not an A…but hey good luck with everything…NOW PLEASE CHANCE ME!!

The vast majority of unhooked students at ivies other than Cornell were top 2 in their high school class. If your high school is very cometitive this is less important. Also a great help if you are from a state that is not well represented. With an under 7% acceptance rate Harvard is tough even for the very top student with outstanding ECs, so try several top colleges with an over 15% acceptance rate where it’s less random who gets in.

No one wants to hear about this, okay? You obviously know the answer. It is the same answer for every single person applying to any Ivy League school.

When an Ivy accepts an incoming class, if every single person declines their admission, they could replace them with the same number of equally qualified candidates. All of these people could decline their admission and they could replace them, again, with the same number of equally qualified candidates.

So yeah you could get in. You and about fifteen-thousand other people.

Did you just make all of this up?

^lol, I wondered that, too.

Your record is obnoxiously perfect, but Harvard only admits 7% of all applicants. Yes, you might get in, but in my opinion you should look at other schools that are still top-tier without being nail-bitingly overselective. Don’t get your heart set on Harvard, but it can’t hurt to apply.
